WEDDING BELLS
DONNELLAN—GREANEY. The wedding was solemnised at St. Patrick's Church, Greymouth, on the 14th ult., of Michael, seventh son of Mrs. P. Donnellan, Grey mouth (formerly of Nelson Creek), and Margaret, second daughter of Mrs. Greaney_, Greymouth. The Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Rev. Father Madden, assisted by Rev. Father Long, and served by the two nephews of" the bride. The bride, who was given away by her brother Denis, was attired in a neat navy-blue, braided costume and blue pan velvet hat. She carried a bouquet of choice chrysanthemums and autumn leaves, and wore the bridegroom's gift, a beautiful aquamarine and pearl pendant. Miss Julia Greaney (sister . of the bride) and Miss Norah Donnellan (sister of the bridegroom) were bridesmaids. Both were similarly attired in saxe-blue silk crepoline dresses embroidered-in gold, black hatters plush hats relieved with French berries, and carried bouquets of golden chrysanthemums and autumn leaves. They also wore neat aquamarine and pearl brooches (gifts of the bridegroom). The bride's gift to the bridegroom was a gold albert with amethyst pendant. Mr. Patrick Donnellan was best man, and Mr. Moran Mahoney, groomsman. After the ceremony the immediate relatives were entertained to wedding breakfast at the residence of the bride's mother. Rev. Father Madden presided, and the customary toasts were honored. The newly-wedded couple subsequently left by the express for Christchurch and Dunedin, where the honeymoon was spent. 'The bride's travelling dress was of saxe-blue cloth, and black toque relieved with fawn and blue chenille trimmings.
