WEDDING BELLS
KENNEDY—MALLOY. A picturesque wedding was celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Greymouth, on January 18'. The bride was Miss Eileen Malloy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. Malloy, Gresson Street ; the bridegroom being Mr. John Kennedy, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Kennedy, Chapel Street. Rev. Father Long, A dm., performed the ceremony, assisted by Rev. Father Shore. Father Long officiated at Nuptial Mass. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a wedding dress of white crepe-de-Chine and ninon. Her beautiful handembroidered veil was arranged in mob cap style, and gathered in with , a spray of orange blossoms. The train was lined with shell pink crepe-de-Chine and worked with steel and pearl beads. The bride carried a beautiful shower bouquet of azaleas and asparagus. She was attended as maid of honor by Miss Josie Kennedy, charmingly attired in a very pretty lemon crepe-de-Chine and ninon frock with lemon picture hat. The classic drapings of the bridesmaid’s frock were ornamented with beads. Dainty little Maureen Beban in white crepe-de-Chine carried the bride’s train. Mr. G. Malloy was best man. As the bridal party left the church, the organist, Miss Maureen Griffen, played Mendelssohn’s wedding march.
