WRECKING RESUMED IN GALWAY
There was a renewal of the wrecking and terrorist operations in Galway City on tin? night of September 24. The residence of Mr. O Dea was wrecked from floor o ceiling, scarcely a stick of furniture remaining intact. Desks, chairs, files, and doors wore shattered, and iron bars with which the destruction was wrought were left behind. One Oliver typewriter is missing and another was shattered evidently with blows of an iron bar. A mantelpiece clock is also missing. A large quantity of broken furniture was thrown into the area, letters and other documents were torn to fragments, and files and papers stiewed the street. Similar conditions existed at the Express office. ~ A resident in Eyre Square, interviewed, said his family had spent a night of terror.
