GRAINS OF GOLD "EVER WAITING." There's One who's ever waiting E'en through the hours of night; He's waiting in His lonely cell For one who seeks the light. Behind a little golden door, He hides Himself from view, And there He watches silently, For lonely hearts and true.

He longs to comfort someone sad, Or help souls in distress. Then why don’t wo go ask of Him To soothe the cares that press

He’d listen with a ready ear To what we had to say. V could not find a truer friend To guide us on our way.

Each dawn brings us a harder task Than that of yesterday ; B, ft H Y e ’ d s and tell the Lord -tie d bear the task away.

Ah why should we, His chosen friends, Be backward in our plight. When we have Him, the Heavenly King, lo help us win the fight

For that same King who reigns in Heaven Reigns also here below; He dwells within the Sacrament From which all graces flow.

Let us, each time we pass his home Remember He is there And walk in gently to His house To say e’en one short prayer. L. O. L. in the Catholic Bulletin.
