(From our own correspondent) ' February 4. Rev. Father A. Cullen, S.M., spent about a week of his holidays in Waimate. , V . The Waimate Catholics deeply regret Father Stewart s departure from their midst. He has taken up his jrortu St Mary’s parish, Christchurch, and has been replaced by Herring. the funeral of Margaret Whitney, aged 80 years, took place- The deceased, also her husband Benjamin, was born in Waterford,:lreland.
