ST. PATRICK'S DAY.
A correspondent suggests the following resolution for Irish gatherings on March 17 : “That this meeting of citizens respectfully requests the Parliament of New Zealand to follow the example of the Australian, Canadian, and South African Parliaments, and of the American Congress, in affirming the right of the Irish Nation to selfgovernment. “That a copy of this resolution be sent to the Member for the (city, district, etc.), and to Members of the Legislative Council.”
