WEDDING BELLS

0 BOH AN—SUTTON. The wedding took place in St. Joseph's Church, Hawera, on September 19, of Mr. David Bohan, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Bohan, Lecston, Canterbury, to Miss Ellen Laura (Nellie) Sutton, second daughter of the '.ate Mr. H. W. Sutton and Mrs. Sutton, Hawera. The ceremony was conducted by the Very Rev. Dean Power. The bride, who was given away by her brother (Mr. A. D. Sutton), wore a costume of midnight blue gabardine, with hat to match. The bridesmaid was Miss Mercie Dolan, wearing a mole crepe-de-chine costume, with Leghorn hat relieved with blue. She carried a bouquet of sweet pea and maidenhair fern. Mr. Dan Bohan, of Danuevirke, was best man. A reception was afterwards held at the residence of the bride's mother. Later Mr. and Mrs. Bohan left by motor car for the north, the bride wearing a navy blue costume, black and rose pink hat, and fur coat, the gift of the bridegroom.
