r He ; was attached to the 22nd Battalion -2nd Division, and was through the; heavy \ fighting! at Pozieres, . Bullecourt/ Polyglon Wood, Zourebeke, and lastly at St. Quentin. He was awarded the Military Medal for the
early October, 1917, operations, and was wounded shortly afterwards. Attached to Australian Headquarters at Tidworth for three months, he rejoined his battalion at the beginning of August. He was to be sent to an officers' training class in England when the division was relieved, but fell in the field of honor shortly before that came to pass. Of a bright and genial disposition, he will be sadly missed by a large circle of friends.—R.I.P.
