A WORD TO THE CLIENTS OF MARY, QUEEN OF PEACE I should be most grateful to you for your help in building a church in honor of the Queen of Peace. You must have some one dear to you who has fallen in the cause of peace— an offering for this proposed Church would be a worthy memorial to him. Or you are praying anxiously for an honorable Peace—an offering here would be a very practical prayer for Peace. An alms given to this object is a very practical prayer for Peace; a worthy memorial to those who have fallen in the cause of peace ; an act of devotion to Mary as well as an act of charity where charity is much needed and will be appreciated. Your will to give depends on your faith and on your devotion to Our Lady; your power to give depends on your means. If you have the faith and the devotion but not the means, remember “the widow’s mite.” Your sacrifice may be the means of moving the hearts of those who have the means to be generous with God but not the Faith. Roxburgh, Otago. Rev. D. A. O’Neill.
