WEDDING BELLS
V - DROMGOOL—KELLY. V n A very pretty wedding was solemnised ' at St. Joseph’s Church, Hawera, on April 25, when Miss Lucy Kelly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. Kelly, of Te Roti, and Mr. A. A. W. (Willie) Dromgool, son of Mr. C. Dromgool, of .Tuakau, Auckland, were united in the bonds of holy Matrimony. The Nuptial Mass was celebrated by the. Very Rev. Dean Power. The bride, who was given away by her father, was prettily dressed in cream crepe de chine, and wore a veil and wreath of orange blossoms and gold pendant set with pearls and blue aquamarines (the gift of the bridegroom). She also carried a pretty shower bouquet of maiden hair and cosmos. Miss Teresa Kelly (sister of the bride), wearing a neat gabardine costume with a oiack velour hat trimmed with roses, attended the bride, while Mr. Francis Dromgool (brother of the bridegroom) was best man. The bride’s present to the bridegroom was a set of gold studs and sleeve links, 'and that of the bridegroom to the bride a gold pendant set in garnets. After the ceremony the relations of the bride and bridegroom were entertained to breakfast held at the residence of the bride’s parents, and in the afternoon the happy couple left for a tour of the South Island, prior to making their home on the West Coast, the bride being neatly attired in a travelling costume of grey corded gabardine, with black and white velour hat.
