PRIVATE MICHAEL FLANNERY. . Word has been received that Private Michael Flannery. died in the Tidworth Military Hospital, England, on February 23. The deceased was the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Flannery, Poolburn. He

was born and educated at Poolburn and afterwards followed the occupation of farming. He was an earnest and practical Catholic, and was a general favorite in the district. "His brother, Peter, was reported missing on October 12, and another brother is at present with the Forces in France.—R.l.P.
