TIMARU. ■•■ • '«*; iThere passed 1 'away on December 1, 1917, at Baker Street, Timaru, a ; highly' v respected resident in the person of Mrs. John Fearon, in : her * fifty-first year, of age. lC The deceased was born in Ireland : and arrived in Timaru 45 years ago with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kyle, and 5 33 "years' ago married Mr. J. Fearon. She was the r mother' of fifteen children, fourteen 'of whom survive herseven sons and - seven daughters. Two sons are on 'active service, a third has been invalided home, the other four reside in Timaru. Three daughters ■ are married—Mrs. Campbell (Wellington), Mrs.' O'Connor (Nelson), and ; Mrs.' Conrady (Dunedin). Misses Lena, Rose, Mary, and Monica reside at home. She : was attended faithfully during a long and painful illness, by Rev. Father Herbert, S.M., and received all the rites of Holy Church, of which she was always a highly devoted member. The funeral took place on Tuesday/ December 4, in'Timaru, and was attended by a very large number of relatives and friends. Rev. Father Herbert officiated at the interment. Mrs. Fearon was of a very cheerful and kindly disposition, and dispensed many an act of kindness to friends. Very genuine sympathy is extended to the bereaved husband and family and relatives. —R.I.P.
