CRIMMINS.On October 12, 1917, killed in action “Somewhere in France,” Private John Patrick Crimmins, 3rd Reinforcements, dearly beloved eldest son of Michael and Mary Ann Crimmins, Kotuku, West Coast, and nephew of Mrs. J. M. Patterson, St. Clair Baths, Dunedin ; aged 29 years. Deeply mourned.—R.l.P. HICKEY.—On October 12, 1917, killed in action “Somewhere in France,” 8/2008 Private James Joseph Hickey, 4th Reinforcements, youngest son of Henry and Jane Hickey, 19 Helena Street, South Dunedin, and beloved brother of Mrs. M. Cogan, Patearoa, Central Otago, and of Hugh and Thomas Hickey.—R.l.P. KENNEDY.—On November 6, at Beersheba, Palestine, of wounds received in action, Trooper S. R. Kennedy, second beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Kennedy, Winchester, South Canterbury, in his - 25th year.—On whose soul, sweet Jesus, have mercy. LAVERY.On October 12, 1917, killed in action in France, Rifleman Michael Joseph Lavery, 7th Reinforcements, beloved son of Thomas and Bridget Lavery, of Tokaora, near Hawera, Taranaki; aged 22 years.—R.l.P. MUIRHEAD.—On October 12, 1917, killed in action “Somewhere in France,” Private John Muirhead, D . Company, 24th Reinforcements, dearly loved eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Muirhead, 635 Castle Street, Dunedin, late of Ravensbourne. Deeply mourned. —R.I.P.
