We have received from Mr. O'Connor, Christchurch, this little book which tells us in an intimate, conversational way, the writer's impression of Casement, Eamon Ceannt, Tom Clarke, Peador O'Meacin, Major Mcßride, Sheehy-Skeffington, Thomas MacDonagh, The and Padraic MacPiarais. It should be welcome reading to all those who desire to know more about the brave men who gladly laid down their lives to regenerate Ireland. How to Help the Sick and Dying. By Rev. J. S. C. Vas. (Australian C.T. Society, Id.) V A useful little pamphlet for the laity, containing instructions about assisting the sick and dying and preparing them for the Last Sacraments. It also contains a collection of prayers for the sick. Religion and Modern Fiction. By Dr. Gerald Baldwin. '(Australian C.T. Society, Id.) This is a useful lecture on the use and abuse of fiction, and a timely plea for good Catholic literature.
