DENNEHY. —Of your charity- pray for the happy repose of the soul of Bartholomew Joseph (Bert) Dennehy, who was killed in action in France on July 3, 1916. R.I.P. Inserted by his loving parents, brothers, and sisters.
DIGNAN.—Of your charity pray for the happy repose of the soul of Maurice Martin Dignan, third son of Mr. F. J. Dignan, of Auckland, and who was killed in action on June 7, 1917 ; aged 21 years. On whose soul, sweet Jesus, have mercy.— Greater love than this no man hath, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (John xv., 13).
MORRIN. —On June 8, 1917, from wounds received in action in France, James (Machine Gun Section, 13th Reinforcements), eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. James Morrin, Roxburgh; aged 25 years. On whose soul, sweet Jesus, have mercy.
