ST. PATRICK’S BASILICA, OAMARU On SUNDAY, JUNE 3, will take place the Laying of the Foundation Stone of the Extension and Completion of St. Patrick’s Basilica, Oamaru. His Lordship Dr. Verdon intends being present, and his Lordship the Bishop of Christchurch (Dr. Brodie) has kindly consented to preach immediately after the ceremony. There will be High Mass in the Basilica at 11.15 a.m., and the Very Rev. Father Liston, Rector of Holy Cross College, wall preach.
