On a recent afternoon (writes our Hokitika correspondent) the children of St. Mary’s School were tendered a treat by-the ladies of the parish. During the afternoon games and amusements were freely indulged in. After the sports the children adjourned to the club rooms, where they enjoyed a sumptuous repast.
