HIS LORDSHIP BISHOP CLEARY

Good news regarding the condition .of his Lordship Bishop Cleary has been received (telegraphs our Auckland correspondent). The latest is to (he effect that we niav confidently look forward lo see him home before the end of the year.

Cabled advice was received at Auckland from Sydney on Thursday (says the II < mid) to the effect that Bishop Cleary is now able to leave his bed and sit up for a short period each day. The message also indicated that, although it would take many months before a full recovery would take place, it was possible that his Lordship would be able to return to Auckland next month.
