After Benediction at the Catholic Church, Featherston, on Sunday evening, August 29, the parishioners met to bid farewell to Mrs. Riddiford who will be leaving for England shortly. On their behalf the Rev. Father Kinkead presented Mrs. Riddiford with a beautiful morocco-bound prayer book and a handsome set of amethyst Rosary beads with gold chain crucifix attached. The Rev. Father referred to Mrs. Riddiford’s many good deeds and kind actions, and wished her God-speed. Mrs. Riddiford feelingly replied.
