Stronach, Morris, and Co., Ltd., report for week ended Tuesday, May 11, 1915, as follows: Rabbit-skins.— AVe held our fortnightly sale on Monday and offered a. medium catalogue to the usual attendance of buyers. Competition was keen, and prices for very good skins were fully up to late rates. Inferior skins, however, were much easier. Quotations: Winter does] 13d to 14Vd; bucks, 12d to 12£d; incoming winters, 10 jd to lid: autumns, 9d to lOd : racks, 6d to 7d ; runners and suckers, 2d to 3]d ; prime winter blacks] 24d to 27d : autumn blacks, 12d to 14d : fawns, to 12]d': hareskins, to skl; horsehair, 17d to 19£d per lb. Catskins, Id to 3d each. Sheepskins.— Our next sale will be held on the 18th. inst. Oats.—Large quantities have been offering from the country, but. merchants are not keen to operate, consequently lower values are ruling. Prime milling, 3s 8d to 3s 9d : good to best feed, 3s 6d to 3s 8d : medium to good, 3s 4d to 3s 6d per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat. — The market is quiet, millers still holding good stocks are not operating freely. Prime milling velvet, 6s lOd to 6d lid ; Tuscan, 5s 8d to 6s 9d ; best whole fowl wheat, 6s 6d to 6s 7d per bushel (sacks extra). Chaff. —The market is firm, small consignments coming forward. There is a good demand for prime oaten sheaf at quotations. Choice black oaten, £6 10s: white oaten*, £6to £6 ss: medium to good, £5 10s to £6 per ton (sacks extra). Potatoes. — Medium supplies have been coming forward, and prime samples arc met with ready sale on arrival. Best tables, £5 to £5 ss; medium to good, £4 10s to £4 15s per ton (sacks in). ':.-■.■■>.
