OBITUARY
M. TIMOTHY HANNIFAN, WAIMATE. } On December 19 Waimate lost one of its oldest residents, in the person of Mr. Timothy an, who passed away peacefully at his residence on that day. The deceased was a native of County Kerry, Ireland. After arriving in New Zealand; he and his wife had lived for forty years in the Waimate district, and were highly respected by all who knew them. Mr. Hannif an had been growing gradually more feeble during the past few months, and at the aged ..of 90 he passed away, after having received all the last rites of the Church. He leaves a wife/ one son, and three daughters to mourn their loss.—-R.I.P.
