Tablet, writes ‘ Could you or any of your numerous readers inform me .as one of the back block farmers mid way between Timaru and Oainaru at what time of the year are fish for plain and homely purposes, such as rock and red cod, groper, ling, conger, and the like, , most plentiful, and how to procure them, and also to cure them and have same ready for Jjent and harvest time V 1 Perhaps some of our readers who are long resident in the locality will supply the desired information.
