Invercargill
(From our own correspondent.) On- Wednesday, the 25th inst., the Irish community of' Invercargill intend holding a grand national concert, the proceeds of which are to be devoted to the Belgium Relief Fund. The concert will take place in the Municipal Theatre, and the charges for admission are 2s and Is, and as the charges are reasonable and the object a worthy one, it is anticipated that there will be a bumper house. A first-class programme will be presented by leading artists. A strong representative committee has the affair in hand, and all members are working with a will to ensure complete success. ■ Considering a long spell of most’inclement weather experienced;locally, the Hibernian Band was fortunate in having ,a fine Sunday afternoon for its concert in Rugby Park, where, a large number of people assembled to listen to an excellent and appropriate programme by the band'under Conductor A. R. Wills. 4
