(From our own correspondent.) ' ' -■ ;i November 3. On Sunday last at the 8 o’clock Mass the members of the H.A.C.B. Society and of St. Mary’s 1 Club re'[ceived Holy Communion. The Rev. Father Fraher, of V Greymouth, was celebrant and preacher. In the course of an eloquent ’sermon the Rev. Father mad© reference to the spiritual and material advantages that accrued ’to the members of the Hibernian Society he exhorted ! I all, the young men of the parish to , join it and , become active members hf a society that made for cohesion amongst Catholics. *': v ' . ■" - v : . j,; The Rev. Father Fraher ' was again preacher, at > Vespers and preached a powerful sermon against the blighting materialism of the age, and he appealed: to .the congregation to remain true to the unchanged and un- ? changeable teachings of .
