A Requiem Mass was celebrated yesterday morning for the happy repose of the soul of the late Father Paul Kehoe, who died at the Catholic presbytery, New Plymouth, on last Friday morning. . Father Kehoe (says the Poverty Bay Herald of September 23) worked with much success in Gisborne some years ago (1888-1894). By the death of this fine, old priest another pioneer " missioner is lost to the Church. St. Mary’s choir rendered the music, and at the end of the Mass the organist played the Dead March.’ There was a large-congre-gation, Rev. Father Golden officiating.
