The bridesmaid was Miss Kathleen Shanahan, sister of the bride, who wore a cream silk frock, trimmed with Limerick lace, a black velvet hat, with white feathers, and carried a lovely bouquet of chrysanthemums and asparagus fern. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. J. Kavanagh, as best man. As the bridal party left the church Mrs. Millies, who presided at the organ, played the Wedding March.’ A reception was afterwards held at the residence of the bride’s parents, when the usual toasts were honored, among the guests being the Rev. The bride, as her going-away dress, wore a tailor-made costume, with black velour hat, with white plumes and a- set of furs. A number of valuable wedding presents were received, including many substantial cheques.
