At the recent examinations of the Federal College, Sydney, all the pupils presented by the Sisters of Mercy, Hokitika, were successful in the ~ commercial subjects for which they entered. The following is the list: Elementary Bookkeeping: Marie Jones, 95 per cent; Alice Stopforth, 95; Catherine Daly, 90; William Stopforth, 90 Doris Ralfe, 85 ; Mary Heads, 85 ; Kathleen Kortegast, 80.
