Never before have so many Auckland residents been bent on a prolonged holiday (says the New Zealand Herald). The bookings in all vessels by which it is possible to reach London during the next few months constitute a record, eclipsing those of the early months of Coronation year. In the tourist bureaux the talk is not of shortness of money, but of inadequacy of steamer . accommodation. The vessels leaving Sydney for London, via the Suez Canal , during the next few months all have their quota of New Zealand passengers* and .the accommodation was engaged months ago. The vessels sailing from New Zealand direct "during the next three months will be full ships, and no accommodation is available by any route until about May. .
