OBITUARY

MRS. PLENNIS, OAMARU. (From an occasional correspondent.) An old identity in the person of Mrs. Margaret Plennis, wife of Mr. A. Plennis, Beach, road, Oamaru, passed away on November 28, at the age of 74 years. The deceased, who had been ill for upwards of three years, was a devoted and practical Catholic, and died fortified by the rites of the Church. She was attended in her illness by Rev. Father Farthing, who also officiated at the interment. Much sympathy is felt for her husband and two sisters (Mrs. O’Connor, of Ngapara, and Mrs. Kiely, of Totara) in their bereavement. —R.I.P.
