(From our own correspondent.) March 31. The Very Rev. Dean Regnault, S.M. (Provincial), passed through Christchurch on last Wednesday on his way to Westland. The Rev. Father Hoare, S.M., Catholic chaplain to the military forces, celebrated Mass on Easter Sunday in St. Michael’s Church, Hornby, when about two hundred men from the Territorial camp at Yaldhurst attended. ’ Father Hoare’s sermon on the occasion had special reference to the duties the men were engaged in. He also intrested himself on their behalf in many ways during their time in camp.
