A bazaar will be held here during the New Year week to raise funds to pay off the debt incurred in purchasing an acre and three quarters of ground for church purposes. • r P^ ev Anther Tl g ar 0.P., opened a week’s mission in lolaga Bay on December 8. The exercises were-well attended, eleven children received First Communion at the seven o’clock Mass on Sunday, December 15, and renewed their Baptismal vows. Breakfast for the children was served at the residence of Mrs. C. E. Smith At the conclusion of the mission Father Tigar expressed his thanks for great kindnesses that had been shown him, also his pleasure at the way the mission had been attended. Father Tigar left by coach on Tuesday morning for Tokomaru Bay, where he opens ,a mission. . 1
