Olympic Games next July will not be a straight away run from point to point, but 12 miles (abouO rmf. hack over the same road, starting from the Stadium and going almost due north to the village of Sollentuna’ and home again. According to present plans the competitors will make two circuits of the Stadium track at starting, before passing out into the road. At the,finish they will mercifully have to do only a ‘fraction of a lap round the arena. Taken as a whole, it is a good road, running the entire, way through open and practically- wild country, with considerable variety of scenery and some hills which, especially towards the finish, will be trying. -
