(From our own correspondent.) Two pioneers of this district passed away recently. They were Mr. John Hoare and Mr. Koger Ryan. The latter leaves a wife and nine children to mourn their loss. Mr. Ryan had been in ill-health for some years, and his demise was not unexpected. —R.I.P. The Catholic Club held an enjoyable euchre tournament on Monday evening. A large number of members and their friends attended, and a very pleasant time was spent. The club are holding a general meeting on Thursday next to consider means for further popularising the club.
