NAPIER

Sacred Heart High School, The breaking-up and presentation of prizes ceremony at the Sacred Heart High School, Napier, took place on December 13 in the presence of a large number of parents and visitors. Prior to the ceremony the visitors had ample opportunities of inspecting the work done by pupils throughout the year, which was really good. It spoke volumes for the skill of the teachers and the ability of the pupils. Plain and fancy needlework was exhibited in profusion, also paintings in oils and water colors, whilst some beautiful specimens of putty work were also on view*. Every girl contributed her quota to the exhibition, which well deserved the praise so liberally showered upon it. St. Joseph’s School, The breaking-up and distribution of prizes ceremony took place at St. Joseph’s Convent School on December 14, a large number of the public being present.
