SACRED HEART HIGH SCHOOL, ASHBURTON

As usual considerable interest was manifested by parents and pupils on the occasion of the annual distribution of prizes at the Sacred Heart High School on Thursday afternoon, December 15. The work of the pupils for the year was tastefully arranged by the Sisters, and the display was indeed creditable to both Sisters and pupils alike, the Sisters well deserving the many compliments conveyed them on their efforts for the year. Those present were also' treated to a musical programme contributed to by the pupils, and the frequent applause throughout was significant of the success of the entertainment. Very Rev. Dean O’Donnell, in a few well chosen words, congratulated both pupils and teachers on the success of the year’s wonting, trusting for a continuance of the good work for the ensuing year.
