SISTER M. AIDAN, AUCKLAND.

The death of Sister M. Aidan took place at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Mount Eden, on Friday (telegraphs our Auckland correspondent). The deceased Sister, who had been ailing for over a year, was the daughter of Mr. Sullivan, of Cuba street, Waihi. On Saturday morning a Requiem Mass for the repose of her soul was celebrated by the Right Rev. Dr. Lenihan at the St. Mary's Convent, Ponsonby. The funeral took place in the afternoon. The Rev. Father Edge conducted the burial service, and was assisted by the Rev. Fathers Kehoe, Doyle," and Ormond. The deceased religious was distinguished for her amiability, unselfishness, and resignation to God's will, during her long and trying illness. — R.I. P.
