(From our own correspondent.) June 19. At, a meeting of the Masterton Trust Lands Trustees a grant of £30 was made to St. Patrick's School. Mother Bridget, of St. Bride's Convent, who underwent a serious operation yesterday morning at the Mater Misencordiae Hospital, Auckland, is progressing as well as can be expected. In honor of the Triduum there was a general Communion at 8 o'clock Mass in St. Patrick's Church bunday. ,In the evening there was a solemn procession or the Blessed Sacrament, in which the Children of Mary and the school children took part. During the devotions there was a reception of a number of girls into the Society or the Children of Mary. All the services were very well attended.
