0, great God, man in his frailness, Craves in lesser things to see Thy dear love and condescension Toward poor humanity.
For Thy mighty acts are awesome, Oft we tremble while we pray, And y/e seeK a. reassurance Of Thy love and thought each day.
So, our eyes turn from the heavens From the lofty to the small; Lo, the perfume of a flow'ret Breathes the love of God for all 1

K-T ?*J TUT U WiU i G ? d ' all iS Well With 18, though the thickest darkness of adversity be round afcout us. Our rainy days are not the only ones for which we should prepare Our wants are as numerous in sunshine as in gloom; therefore, frugality is an unfailing friend. They whose sunshine is from Him Who is within them worship God brightly out of a blessedness which the world cannot touch because it gushes upwards from a. sanctuary that lies too deep for rifling. — Faber. > Put off till to-morrow each act unkind, All selfish degrading schemes; . All the envious thoughts that vex the mind And the dreaming of idle dreams. ' Put off each deed you would fain undo, Each word you would fain unsay, When the trumpet shalL sound tie wide world throueh On the great accounting day. *«»*,«>
