We, have been requested by the Christian , Brothers to state that through inadvertence the following names were omitted from their list of prize-winners at the annual distribution of prizes:— Thomas P. Father Cleary being deacon and Rev; Father ' Cottey Adm subdeacon. A sermon appropriate to the days festival was preached by the. Rev. Father Coffey Ihe music was Gounod's ' Messe solcnnellc, ' which Was rendered in a finished manner by the choir, under the conductorslnp of Mr. Carolin, Mr. A.Vallis presiding at the organ. Very large numbers approached the Holy Table "at the early Masses. The floral decorations were confined^ to the high altar, which was ornamented with much taste by Misses Murphy and White. t °, n , Wednesday evening last week the members of St. Joseph s Men's Club assembled in St.. Joseph's Hall for the purpose of presenting Mr. W. P. Rodgers, on the occasion of his approaching marriage, with a tangible token of the esteem m which he is held. and a slight- recognition of his services on behalf of the club as its secretary, a position which he has occupied during the last four, years.
