It ds very encouraging to see the manner in which 'the young men of Tlemuka are uniting, s 0 as jto make the Catholic Club, a society of which |c.very member should be proud. TKough several old members have left the district, lothers are taking their place, anid all are working in earnest. The society intends holding a sports'' gathering o n May 25, for the purpose of raising nionisy to furnish the Club rooms. Last year a similar gathering was jhtld' in aid of the parish, and proved very successful, the sum of £60 being inetted. .It is expected that this gathering will meet with the same , success, land with a •billiard table donated to it, the club, should he in a sound financial position.
