Cattle.— There was a small yarding of 137,. of quality below the average. There was a drop in prices' as compared with last week. Best bullocks, £8 to £8 17s6d-; medium, £7 to £7 15s l ; light, up to' £5 10s. There was a considerable drop in the price of store cattle, the average being about -£2 10s. Sheep.— l 762 penned ; a small yarding, witb^a fair proportion of good quality wethers,. Prices an coumd were firmer than those ruling last" week. Extra' wethers, 245; best, 20s to 23s 6d ; rredium, l°s 6d to 20s; inferior, 16s 3d to 18s 3d ;' ewes, 15s to 18s 6d ; extra, up to" 21s 3d ; medium, 9s 3d to 15s'6d., Lambs.—l63oL a mbs.— l63o penned ; a faff* yarding. Prime, up - to 17s 6d ; good, 15s to. 16s 3d ; medium, 13s 6d to 14s 6d ; light, 12s to 13s. :
Pigs.— 7o penned. Porkers and baconers were in small supply,' and prices for these .were better by id per tb than those ruling last week. Small ,pigs wefea shade easier. Suckers, 13s to 14s 6d • slips, 15s to 18s ; stores, 23s to 28s ; porkers, 38s to 40s 6d ; light baconers, 45s to 55s ; heavy do, 61s to 655.
