MARIST BROS.' SCHOOL, CHRISTCHURCH

(From our own correspondent.) The annual distribution of prizes in connection with the Marist Brothers Boys' School! Barbadoes Street, took place on December 18. The Re^. Father O'Connell, S.M., presided. There were also present Fathers Bonnetto and Peoples. After the distribution of prizes Father O'Connell complimented the pupils on their successes, both at their studies and on the field of athletics. The importance of losing no opportunity of advancing in useful knowledge, being in reality the very foundation upon which. future careers were to be constructed, was impressed upon his hearers.
