WEDDING BELLS
WARREN— MILLIGAN. A very pretty wedding "(writes a correspondent) took-place at the Ohurch of the Sacred Heart, Denniston, on June 12, the contracting parties being Miss Sarah Milligan, third daughter of Mr. N. Milligan, jof Denniston, and Mr. John Warren, second son of Mr. Warren, Kumara, Westland. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father "Bergin, who celebrated a
Nuptial Mass. The bride, who was given away -by her • father, wore a pretty navy blue costume, with a spray •of orange blossom and hat to match. She was attended by her sister, "Miss Molly Milligan. Both bride and bridesmaid carried ivory-bound prayer books, gifts of the bride's mother. " The bridegroom's present to the bride w a s a .handsome dress-ring, and to, the bridesmaid a gold brooch. The 'bride's present to the bridegroom was a set of gold sleeve links. Mr. George Foreman acted
as best man. After the ceremony the bridal party and guests left the church to the strains of "Mendelssohn's 'Wedding March,' plaved' 'by Miss Agnes Milligan, and proceeded to the residence of the bride's parents, where the wedding "breakfas* was served. The toast of the ' Bride and bridegroom ' was proposed by the Rev. Father Bergin. Other toasts were also 'duly honored. In the evening the happy couple left by special coach for West'land, where they were to spend their honeymoon. Both bride and bridegroom were the recipients of a very large number of handsome' presents.
