The people, of Armidale were delighted when they heard that Bishop O'Connor 'had appointed the Very Rev. Father M. Tobin, his private secretary and 'Administrator of St. Mary's Cathedral, Dean of Armidale. There is no more popular priest in the diocese than the new Dean, and none more zealous or energetic..
