Messrs. Wright, Stephenson, and Co., report as follows :—: — There was a fairly good entiy of horses for our sale last Satuzday, and included in the number were a few useful soils. The attendance fiom both town and country was all that could be desired, and as here were a lew buyeis in the yard on the lookout norses suitable for meir lequirements a good sale resulted. Amongst the draughts were several fairly decent sorts, and for such competition was keen and most of them found new owners at late market quotations. Old and stale horses, on the other hand weie not wanted, and they were most difficult to place consequently, business m this class was limited *irst-class young draught, mares and geldings suitable for either town or country work are badly wanted in this ccntie, and we would recommend vendors of such to send them to our weeKly sales
