The Heart that burns with tender flame, Through good and evil still the same ; Through joy or tears, of sin or shame— The pitying Heart of Jesus. 0 favored we, forever blest ! Truths, like roses, have thorns ahout them. It is an eminent mark of wisdom for a man to be always like himself. Happy indeed are they whose intercourse with the world has not changed tlie tone of their holier feelings. J" ou r relation with one another, we are apt to negect the little things which count so much in making our lives happier. We need not be" prophets or apostles. The common, est life may be full of perfection. The duties of home are a discipline for the ministries of heaven, ♦v God , extends a constant and special providence over those who place their confidence in Him ; and they who do so may rest assured that no haim will happen to them.
