Messrs. Stronach, Morris, and Co. report :—
Oats. — Consignments have been light durinig the week, and prices remain firm. Quotations : Choice seed, 2s to 2s 3d ; good do, Is lOd to 2s ; prime mill ng, Is 8M to Is 9d ; good to -IJest feed, Is B'd to millmg, Is B^d to Is 9d ; good to best feed, Is 8d to bushel.
Wheat.— The milling demand has slackened, and second quality milling can only be sold as fowl wheat. Quotations : Seed lines, 3s .3d to 3s 6d ; Prime milling, 3s 2d to 3s 2£d ; medium do and best whole fowl wheat, 2s lid to 3s ; broken and damaged, 2s Cd to 2s 9d per bushel.
Potatoes. — Are in short supply, and prices show an advance of about 30s. Derwents, none forward ; white sorts, £9 10s to £9 15s per ton.
Chaff.— Prime samples are in good demand, anfl are readily disposed of, but medium has not the same attention. Choice oaten sheaf £3 7s Cd to £3 10s
good to prime, £3 to £3 5s ; medium, £2 12s 6d to £2 17s 6d ; light arid inferior, £2 5s to £2 10s per ton.
