There w>as a good attendance at Atidingtcwi to-day, the presqnee of buyers from the We^st Coast, and Amiuri district beip'g reap'ansible for most of the business dome. There was, howe\er, no improvement on prices recant ly realised. Fat Cattle.— l7B of mixed quality yarded. The sale was irregular, but prices on t N e vditole a\c.rage,d slightly bettor than last week. Values were 15/- to 20/- per 100— for inferior to good beef ; a few prime steers realised 21/- to 22/-. Steers sold at £6/10/tp^ £110/5 ; lieifers, £5/10/- to £6/12/6; cows, £5 tto Store Cattle.— Kecant prices were in some cases maintained. Calves, 15/- to 25/- ; yearlings, 25/- to 35/- ; 1,5 aAifl 18 months old, 35/- to 45/-; two-year-old steers, 60/- to 75/- , two-year-old heifers, 55/- to 65/- • thlreo-ycar -old steers, £4/JO/- to £5/5/- ; dry cows, 25/to 65/-. Dairy Cows.— There was a £oqri demand for fresh milkers, but other sorts were neglected. Daiiry cows fetched £syiO/- to £9/17/6 ; inferior sorts, 30/- to £4. Fat Sheep. —There was a good entry, and wethers and mutiton ewes realised recent values, wjwlst for aged ewes late prices were barely maintained. Prices current wc|re : Prime to extca wethers, 22/- to 27/- ; others, 20/9 tio 32/10 ; prime heavy ewe>s, 21/- to 22/5 ' good, 19/- to 20/6 ; medfum, 17/- to 18/6 ; aged 14/1 to 16/-. Flat Lambs —There was a large entry, alnd a good demand for prime class-es, but inferior sorts were weaker. Prices ranged: Tegs, firom 19/- tO.t 0 . 2,1/- ; lamjb wetigja-tisi, 171/6 tio IS/9 } others, 15/- to 17/-. Store Sheep and Lambs.— There Was a large entry, a"nd a keen demand for wetjhers at veiry full prices. Lambs ware firm. Ewes sold irregularly, good sorts fetching last week's prices. Inferior classes were a shade caster, prices current : Wethers, 17/10 to 21/3 • ewes, two-tooto, 18/3 to 20/- ; scxunid-m.ou.lhed, 20/8 • f,ulUn|out'hqd, 17/1 ; mixed twortdaflh, 18/6'; lamfcp, 12J/6 ; stores, t 0 16)/ 6 ; merino ewes, fuH-mo,ul}had, 7/2 to 10/1. Fat pigs.— A moderate entry, "but stores were present in large numbers, including a consignment from Chatham Islands. There was a goefd demand for ba,coners anti porkers, the former selling ,at 43/- to 56/-, equal tio 4-^d per 1b for regular weights, and 3i'd to M for heavy weipjhfls Parkers fetched 24/6 to '39/-; stores large, 27/- to 33/- ; mddium, 17/- to 24/- ; small, 10/to 16/- ; weancrs, fy~ to 10/-.
