In placing before you our twelfth annual report and balance sheet, we wish to thank the parishioners of St. Mary's and all those who have so generously contributed to the funds of the Society, as well as those who have donated clothing, boots, etc., for the destitute and aged poor. We als,o thank the honorary members of the Society for all they have done. The members of the Society also return their sincerest thanks to the trjisftees of the Hyman Marks' estate for their annual domatitons. We desire to thank the ladies' branch of the Society for the very atkle assistance they have given Last, bjut not least, we beg to thank our worthy clergy foar tlhe very able assistance they have given us, a,nd Who" have always, by their kind sympathy and good advice, helped us so much. Dairing the year there have been issued '128 orders for groceries and 72 orders foir coal. The Society received through tlhe laWias' branch of the Conference the shim of £W to be spent in coals from Sir George and Lady Cli'ffoxd. The Socieity desire io than/k? them in the name of the poor of St. Mary's parish.
