JOLLY— DUNNE
There was quite a stir in Balclutha on Wednesday (says the ' CluMia Leader ') the occasion being the wedding of. Miss GabneHle Hezlam, youngest daughter of Mr. John Dunne, Mayor of Balcbjtiia, to Ernest, second son of Mr. D. A. Jolly, merchant, of Cromwell. The ceremony took place in St. Virgihus' Church, the Rev. Father O'Donnell, Gore, ofliciatrng. The church, winch was crowded, had been tastefully decorated. The bride, who was given away by her father, was charmingly attired in a costume of white duchesse satin, trimmed witili chiffon, and cream silk lace. She was attended by four bridesmaids— Misses Frances Dunne, Mabel and Alma Jolly, and Annie Swan. The bridegioorm was attended by Mr. L. Pavletich as best man. \t tihe conclusion of the ceremony Mendelssohn's 'Wedding March" was played by the organist, Mr. J. P. Walls. There was a large gathering at the wedding breaikfast at the residence of Mr Dunne, and in the afternoon the happy couple left for H'anmer. An enjoyable dance in honor of the event was given in the Oddfellows' Hall in the evening 1 .
